HCTP Pricing & Buying Guide

How Much Do Home Care Policies, Procedures & Operational Documents Cost?

HCTP publishes its package pricing openly so agencies can understand the investment before beginning the buyer journey. The more important question is not simply what a document costs—it is whether the documentation matches the agency’s actual provider pathway and operating needs.

What does HCTP charge?

HCTP currently offers three one-time documentation packages: the 43-Document Operational Documentation System for $197, the customized Policies & Procedures Manual for $1,299, and the Complete Package for $1,496.

No hidden “contact us for pricing” wall. The price is public; the pathway work determines which package actually fits the agency.

HCTP home care documentation pricing

43-Document Operational Documentation System

$197one-time

Best fit

Agencies that need the operational forms, records and workflow documents used to carry out and document day-to-day operations.

What the investment is for

A connected operational-document system designed around the agency workflow rather than a loose collection of unrelated templates.

Policies & Procedures Manual

$1,299one-time

Best fit

Agencies that need a customized policies and procedures manual aligned to the state, provider pathway and service context being pursued or operated.

What the investment is for

A customized policy-and-procedure system built around the applicable pathway and the agency operating model rather than a generic national manual.

Complete Package

$1,496one-time

Best fit

Agencies that want the customized Policies & Procedures Manual together with the 43-document operational system.

What the investment is for

The policy layer and the operational-record layer together so the agency can connect requirements, procedures, responsible roles and implementation evidence.

Why does a customized home care manual cost more than a generic template?

A generic template is primarily a document. A customized documentation system has to account for the agency’s state, provider pathway, services, payer or program context, operating roles and the requirements that control the work. Those facts determine which policies belong, which procedures must exist, what terminology is appropriate and which operational records are needed to prove implementation.

That is why HCTP does not treat page count as the value metric. A longer manual can still be wrong for the provider pathway, while a disciplined system should connect the requirement to the policy, procedure, responsible role, record, review and corrective action.

Which HCTP package fits which situation?

“I already have policies, but my forms and systems are scattered.”

The 43-Document Operational Documentation System is the relevant starting point when the immediate need is the operational-record layer: intake, ongoing client management, service documentation, follow-up, closeout and related workflows.

“I need policies that actually match the provider type I am pursuing.”

The Policies & Procedures Manual addresses the policy-and-procedure layer when the agency needs a customized manual aligned to its pathway and service context.

“I want the policies and the operating documents to work together.”

The Complete Package combines both layers so the written rules and procedures can connect to the forms and records used to implement them.

What information should an agency know before buying?

The most useful buying decision starts with the agency facts, not the package name. Know the state, provider type or pathway, services to be offered, payer or program context and whether the agency already has policies or operational documents that need to be evaluated against the intended workflow.

An agency that is already licensed but rebuilding its processes has a different need from an agency preparing for its first application. An agency entering a Medicaid or program-specific pathway may also need requirements beyond a private-pay base workflow.

What should you compare before buying home care templates or manuals?

Provider-pathway fit

Does the documentation match the actual provider category, or only the state name?

Source authority

Can the relevant requirements be traced to the controlling regulator, rule, program, payer or other applicable source?

Operational flow

Do the documents work from intake through ongoing service and file closeout, or are they disconnected templates?

Customization

Does customization change the substance and workflow, or only add a logo and business name?

Policy-to-record connection

Can the agency connect a written policy to the procedure, responsible role and record that demonstrates implementation?

Update discipline

Is there a method for revising the system when the pathway, services, operations or requirements change?

Start with the agency, not the checkout button

Identify your state and provider pathway before selecting the package.

HCTP’s buyer journey begins with the agency’s state and provider information so the documentation path can be evaluated before secure checkout.

Frequently asked pricing questions

What do you need from me before my documents can be customized?

The exact intake depends on the product and agency, but the important inputs are the facts that change the documentation: state, provider type or pathway, services, payer or program context, agency identity and operating structure, and other pathway-specific information needed to build the correct system.

Is the price based on the number of pages?

No. Page count is not a reliable measure of documentation quality. The value is in whether the system reflects the correct pathway, covers the necessary operating functions, connects policies to procedures and records, and can actually be used by the agency.

Are these monthly prices?

No. The three HCTP package prices shown on this page are one-time purchase prices.

How do I make payment?

HCTP uses secure online checkout. The buyer journey starts with the agency’s state and provider information so the system can determine the appropriate documentation path before checkout.

How soon will I receive the documents?

Turnaround should be confirmed from the actual build context rather than guessed from a national average. Provider pathway, service scope and required customization can affect the work involved, so HCTP does not publish a fake universal delivery promise on this guide.

I already have policies and procedures. Do I still need a full manual?

Not necessarily. The first question is whether the existing manual actually matches the agency’s provider pathway, services and current operations. An existing manual should be evaluated for missing, conflicting or outdated requirements before deciding whether it needs targeted correction or a full rebuild.

Pricing and educational scope

Prices shown are HCTP’s current listed one-time package prices. This guide does not establish a universal market price for home care documentation, and it does not guarantee licensing, enrollment, accreditation or payer approval. Agency-specific requirements should be verified against the applicable pathway and controlling sources.
